Estate planning is a highly personal area of law: it is about everything you have and everyone you love. This type of planning provides for management of your financial matters during life and after death. You must be able to work closely with an attorney who will take the time to discuss your specific needs and options with you. Estate planning also involves planning for your own medical care and treatment so that when you are most vulnerable, trusted people are in place and empowered to step in to assist you. Your estate plan is a reflection of your unique family dynamics and personal values. This is why it is so important to work with someone with the necessary compassion and understanding of the laws that impact estate planning.
